REFUNDS / RETURNS

I take several photos of each item, close-ups from all angles, because I want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase.  I rarely take back items unless I made an error in customizing your piece (which hasn't happened yet -- whew!) :)  I make almost every item by hand soon after you place your order.
I don't stamp, customize or create most of the items in my shop until someone makes a purchase.  Therefore, returns/refunds are not available after I've started making your order (which is typically within 1-24 hours of purchase).  I try to make everything asap so I can get them in the mail to you asap.
If we agree upon a return, any shipment costs will be the responsibility of the purchaser and shipping charges will not be refunded.
Please contact me within 1 week of receiving your item if you feel there has been an error.   Items need to be carefully packaged, as they were sent to you.  If a piece is returned to me that is damaged or I don't receive it, a refund may not be available.
I hand-stamp each and every letter individually and very carefully.  They may not end up perfect, which is what handcrafted jewelry is all about:  character and uniqueness! :)  Refunds will not be provided for imperfections in stamping.
Returns/refunds will not be given for international customers refusing to pay the duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees that some countries impose upon their residents; buyers are responsible for these fees.  Please educate yourself about your country's VAT taxes and customs fees before placing your order.  I also cannot issue refunds or (free) replacements for items lost or delayed in the mail.
SHIPPING
I will ship to the address that is entered when you place your order.  Please make sure the address is correct.  If the post office returns your package to me, purchasing postage to re-package and re-send the order is the responsibility of the buyer.
I ship everything First Class via the U.S. Postal Service and I will email your tracking number as soon as I mail your package (on domestic purchases).
 Transit times are:
* For orders in Texas, delivery usually takes 2-3 days.
* For domestic orders (within the U.S.), delivery typically takes 3-5 business days. 
* For international shipments, delivery typically takes between 2 - 3 weeks depending on the country, but it can take longer.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS MAY BE CHARGED ADDITIONAL FEES AT CUSTOMS.  I have no way of knowing which countries charge these fees and am not responsible for any additional fees charged at customs.  Buyers are responsible for any additional costs such as VAT fees, duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees.
Every so often, a package can get delayed in the mail or stuck in customs.  One customer didn't receive her package for 3 months.  Although that is a rarity, it is a possibility.  I am not responsible for delays or for any additional fees that may be charged for international deliveries.   It’s nearly impossible for me to track a package once it leaves the U.S.
I make sure each item is well-protected and safely packaged, but I cannot be held responsible if a package gets lost or damaged in the mail whether it's domestic or international; packages are not guaranteed nor insured.
*** I NO LONGER SHIP TO SAUDI ARABIA or anywhere in the United Arab Emirates.  Every package I have mailed to Saudi Arabia and the UAE has been returned to me months later, so if you enter a mailing address for Saudi Arabia (or UAE), your order will be refunded and cancelled.  
Every once in a blue moon a package gets lost in the mail.  Although it is rare (it's only happened to me once), I am sorry but I cannot always refund or replace all items.   I typically cannot track a package after it leaves the U.S.  You should contact your local post office and use the tracking number I emailed you as proof of shipment.  Your tracking number is designed to be scanned in every time the package is received at postal destinations within the U.S. on its journey to the address you provide.
I am not responsible for any delay caused by weather conditions, postal services, shipping companies, international customs or any other unknown reasons. Once I mail your package at the post office, if it gets lost or damaged (again, that is a rarity), it is not my responsibility to refund or replace. Please make your claims to the post office using your tracking number.
